My name is Laura Lewis and I'm an award-winning portrait, documentary and lifestyle photographer based in London. You can see more about my commercial work and awards here.

I started Mama Photography after years of photographing families for adverts, editorial and friends.

I'm a mother and know how many beautiful moments there are every day with little ones and families. And how wonderful it is to capture something real and true to remember those moments by.

If you're looking for staged, or studio shots of your family then this might not be your cup of tea.

But if you're looking for beautiful, real, true photography of your loved ones then this could be for you.

In an hour or two at your home or other nominated place, I aim to capture unique and beautiful imagery of your little ones and family.

No lights, no huge equipment, no assistant, no fuss. Just me and a camera. My style is natural. I always aim to have an unobtrusive and gentle approach to photographing. No jazz hands, false or forced smiles. Just life as it happens in your home. Perfectly imperfect.
